Natalie Schlegel

Hi, I’m Natalie Schlegel, a recent graduate from Kent State University with a BFA in Visual Communication Design and a minor in Marketing. I grew up on a sheep farm in rural Ohio, which shaped my love for hard work, a strong sense of community, and a deep appreciation for the history of every place I live and visit — all of which influence how I approach design and life.

While at Kent State, I refined my design skills while working with University Housing and Culinary Services. I created the branding and materials for the café in the new Business Building, developed branding and promotional content for multiple Housing and Culinary events, and worked on various projects that adhered to Kent State’s brand guidelines. 

I enjoy projects that involve research and exploring the subject matter in depth, allowing me to create well-informed, impactful designs. I love delivering work that connects directly with clients and target audiences, and I plan to continue creating final products that communicate effectively and resonate emotionally with my audience
